Default LMS-527c DF IGPS

Does anyone have this sonar/gps? Is it a good unit? I have a 522 right now that I'm having problems with and got ahold of Linda C and she said she would replace it but they don't have any 522s in right now and could give me the 527 df instead. Just wondering how much difference it would be having the dual freq instead of the single?

Go for it, it has the 50/200 KHZ tranaducer but you can buy a 200 for $60 or use the one from your 522 and end up with a unit worth $400 more than your 522 and you go from a 5" to 7" screen!

Right Pike Man I read that as X27 instead of 527.

Well I got a email from Linda this morning saying they are getting some units in and will have a 522 for me, so I won't have to get the 527. I just hope this one works better than the last one. I want to get out to little bay denoc again. Sucked going out there last time with a sonar not working.
