egg sinker bottom bouncer
I have the egg sinker mold, so I am wondering if anyone uses egg sinkers to make there bottom bouncers. How are you keeping the weight on the wire? Where is the cheapest place to buy the wires already made up?

I know a guy who uses them, what he does is put a 90 degree bend on the bottom of the wire to keep the sinker from falling off. I think he makes his own wires up.

I make my own bottom bouncers. I have made my own wires but I ended up buying the last batch from Jann's Netcraft. They were quite reasonably priced and work well for me. I have a do-it mold for the bottom bouncers so I have never used egg sinkers as the weight but I dont know why you couldn't. If I were to do that I would just put a slight kink in the wire above and below the sinker so that it wouldn't slide and call it good. I don't know how big your sinker mold is but I find myself using a 1 3/4 oz. most of the time. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose. Rob

If you can find them metal coat hangers work rather well. The stiffer wire lets you feel more of what the bouncer is coming in contact with.. Hope this helps.
