Some of these devices are really capable if a person knows how to use them properly. I have a Lowrance Gen2 Touch and I don't feel like I know how to use it well enough to maximize its potential. Plus, with my eyesight, I should probably go a bit bigger. I went to a Lowrance training class at BassPro one night. Their focus was more on selling their newer upgraded models.
