Two of my favorites

Wild rice soup
Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup wild rice
* 1/2 cup shredded carrots
* 6 cups water
* 4 cups chicken stock
* 1/2 cup diced celery
Cooking:

1. Rinse wild rice.
2. Cook in 6 cups water until plump and tender, drain.
3. Set aside.
4. Combine chicken stock, carrots, onions and celery.
5. Bring to a boil, then simmer and cook until vegetables are tender.
6. Add cooked wild rice.
7. Makes 4 servings.

I make this soup every Fall and it's fairly easy to make and tastes great. The wild rice in it gives it that little something extra. Try it. https://www.emerils.com/121104/smoke...wild-rice-soup
