Since you are towing with multiple trucks I would get one of the trailer mounted rock guards. I would put regular mud flaps on everybody's trucks. That would help keep mud and some rocks from hitting your trailer mounted rock guard.

Is anyone using the Montana Rockguard with a Ranger Fisherman 620vs (2014)? Sorry I don't mean to hijack this thread. The web site says one size fits all so I'm hoping that someone can comment as to how well this product works with a Ranger Fisherman.

Thanks!

i called the guys with the montana rock guards and they said it would not be a good choice for my ZV21, or a 621 something to do with the boat so far over the side of the trailer.

Worst part of towing on a gravel road is the boat fills with road dust. How do you keep that out? A cover helps but not 100%

Suppose you could leave the old lady in the boat while on gravel roads and have her sweep as you travel...

Realistically I don't think there is much more you can do than trailer it covered. Maybe a better cover?

This is what I run as well. Fantastic guard and no need to change anything to access the winch when launching.
