You mean the one where you need to fish rivers in a Skeeter or ice fish with a Marcum and Otter sled and worship certain people or your not as cool as the next guy? Or the one where you get the ax for hurting moderators delicate feelings.

I spend my fair share of time on those forums but this is my go to place by far. WC is just an all around better forum. It's better run and more mature. Yes even with the occasional bashing it's more mature.

Blasphmy!

I think all these different forums have thier good and bads. I always thought on WC you had better unconditionally love Ranger and/or Verado to be cool.

Are these forums a natural extension of high school?????

Junior High actually.

It happens on all forums. That's the nature of being anonymous. As you say there is good and bad. The good is that Jesse got his side of the story out.

Back on topic, cheaters never prosper.

Just the other way around for me Rich. Now that I'm retired I have the chance to fish all the weekend tourneys around here as well as the MWC on 'Bago this summer. Looking forward to it.

Wade, this forum is no where near as member or sponsor protective as the other one.

Good info and people over there, but the core group gets to be a little to much, it's definitely their way or the highway.

Photographic evidence of the fraudulent activities helps.

I just don't use it unless I feel I have to. At this time, haven't had to. I just can't get over how one can lie to their best friends for their own personal gain. Oh well, to each his own.

Thumbs up Good News Travels Fast But...

Good news travels fast but... unfortunately bad news travels faster. We live in an age where most folks are more interested and entertained by "dirty laundry" than wholesome, good clean deeds.

There are tens of thousands of commercial airline flights every day. Most take off and land without a hitch, but that's not the news people want. If just one of these flights has the most minor incident it makes the news. All the others with zero problems are forgotten...

It's kind of the same with the whole tournament cheating, networks of teams, favoritism, sponsor restrictions, yada-yada-yada , the list goes on....

I'll venture a guess that there are thousands and thousands of tournaments (if not more) across our great land that have no problems with cheating or even the suspicion of cheating or stepping outside of the rules. Unfortunately, again, this is not news... it's not the dirty laundry everyone wants to hear about.

Personally, I prefer to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative! Whether you see the glass as half empty or half full is up to you as an individual. There are just too many things that are "right" and "good" about our sport! Let's stop focusing on the minority negative aspects and start focusing on the majority of what is right about what we all love to do. FISH!

This year will be my 1st year fishing walleye tournaments and I am really looking forward to it. My fishing partner and I will be fishing the Walleye Madness tournaments in NE Ohio and I will be fishing the NWT out of Port Clinton in June as a co angler.

My hope is that all who choose to participate will be honest and straight forward, if not I feel sorry for them. If your life is such that you need to cheat in order to obtain validation in your life you have more serious issues than winning a fishing tournament.
