Question

Was this the only road a channel was cut through the week before the NWT tournament?

Default Only access point

TAH, Was this trench the only place to cross?

If so, anyone who used the trench whether Thursday, Friday, or Saturday obviously knew it was there beforehand and took advantage of it whether they cut it or not... IF that is the case, and I say IF because i don't know the area, I will have very little respect for anyone that decided to use it during the tourney, because they knew it was wrong.

W&W, we were ALL given the ok to use it day 2 by NWT, Fish & Game, and the Sheriff. Their investigation was over. Many including me went to prove what we could have gotten on day one if we were allowed like the "lone boater" did on day one.

So you went up there without prefishing up there, just to prove that point?

W&W, I never prefished there, period, but I obviously heard how good it was. My thoughts were that it would have been pointless to prefish if #1 it was deemed "off limits" at the last minute or #2 if it turned out legal to fish it's not hard to figure a small area out like that, rock piles, pitch cranks, not too difficult.

Default For what it is worth

Here is my take for what it is worth. I am not convinced it is tournament anglers. Matter of act highly doubt it.

Before the NWT some were looking at ways to get across 281.

Instead I am thinking that a few individuals after they decided to open up 281, felt the time to do it was when the NWT tournament was on. Either to cause the event to look bad or, take attention off of them.

The back hoe operator, if not part of the group, had to have been paid a lot of money. TO risk being caught and losing opportunity to bid on township, state and federal projects. Unless someone had their own back hoe.

Here is what I hope, those responsible get caught, for one to prove that tournament fisherman didn't do this, because if those responsible are not caught tournament anglers will always be blamed anyway.
