Default In-Boat Snacks?

As I prepare for a week-long trip with my brother I got curious what your goto snacks are when spending a day on the water. I try to avoid the sugar-filled junk food and usually fail because of the convenience and having a considerable sweettooth.

Are there any traditional "good luck" items you always try have onboard?

What about things you don't let on your boat? (i.e. sunflower seeds, bananas).

Water, pretzels, pop tarts, lunchable & a banana. It's possible a payday or Baby Ruth could make it into my cooler.

Usually water, or Gatorade, plastic bottles only. Snacks - trail mix, fruit(no bananas), gotta have some smoked or soy wasabi almonds, pretzels. That about covers it except if out all day a sandwich.

Twizzlers, in-shell salted peanuts (yes they make a mess), M&M chocolate covered peanuts.

Of course, let's not forget the mandatory snakebite/mosquito repellent pint of Dubouchett Blackberry Brandy. Fishing in a tiller with 3 guys, the poor guy sitting in the middle has to take a swig going both ways,,,,,
HRG

Truth be told, this year, on the trip I didn't go on, my BIL brought some off-brand brandy. I understand their catch rate was pretty low. A coincidence, maybe?

Every year, usually in late January or early February when flintlock season is over, I make 20 lbs of summer sausage. That's for use during the next fishing season.

TMG had the best boat snacks, Twizzlers and awesome meat sticks. Ricky Spanish has been known to have some of the best venison jalepeno hot sticks.

My boat is pretty much anything goes, we usually have some peanut butter crackers, or some kind of chips/crackers that were in the cabinet. The best is when we take a cast iron pan, oil, and breading and make a quick shore lunch. I am not crazy about sunflower seeds in the boat (for me or guests) but I don’t tell anyone they can’t bring them. I already have bad luck so bananas won’t make any difference. Ha! The boat isn’t a very nice boat though, if I had a newer boat I might be a little more picky.

I'm not a snacker so usually just have a lunch with me. My friends bring lots of different things. Jerky and Twizzlers seem to be the big winners.

I tell them in advance if they bring sunflower seeds or peanuts in the shell they get to vacuum the boat.
