New to me boat 70hp Yamaha

I just got a new to me boat and it has a 70hp 2-stroke Yamaha on it. I am going to replace the filters and plugs as those are easy for me to do, is there anything else I should change out just as a normal maintenance/peace of mind?

Engine ran well when tested with muffs on it, but curious if I should replace the water impeller also just because I don't know when it was done last. This is my first Yamaha so looking for suggestions.

I would defiantly do the water pump/impeller. Like you said you don't know the age of it and it's cheap insurance. In addition to filters and impeller give fuel lines a good look over and make sure thermostats are opening correctly

Change the gear lube as well
