Default How to secure a walk through windshield in the open position

I have an Alumacraft trophy with full windshield.

I'm looking for a solution to securing the window in the open position. I'm tired of forgetting to close the windshield and having wind slam it shut.

Looked on line and don't see an obvious solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can always epoxy a small rare-earth magnet into both the window frame and the winshield frame where they meet. That will hold the window open.

Small hand clamp from Ace Hardware would do the trick. Make sure it has the rubber tips. Clamp your window that opens to the fixed windshield. Not pretty, but it would work.

My Lund came with a 1" nylon web strap with a snap on both pieces.

Default Snap

Use snap off of one of my Ranger seats.

Works well. I used similar type clamp on my Trophy. It had a ratcheting mechanism which worked very nicely.

Velcro.
A small patch on each window section and a strip to connect them.
I was going to use snaps and a strap, but the Velcro is self sticking so no drilling and I can strap it down tight, so no bouncing.
