Default Soft Sided Cooler Fishing - shore or boat ideas

Doing some shore fishing and spotted a guy putting his catch in a soft sided cooler. Just wondering has anyone tried this or have a brand/size they have. Would be nice to have a side pocket for tackle and you could be pretty light running around. Might even work on the boat vs using live well

Any thoughts on this one

In hot weather I never use the livewell. If you have fish in a livewell with the water temp higher than 70 degrees the fish will not taste as good after hours of fishing. A cooler is a good idea for your take home fish anytime. Bob

I would suggest checking out https://www.grizzlycoolers.com/grizzly-drifter

They make very high quality hard and soft sided coolers and are made in Decorah Iowa which is a nice bonus.

For those that like to take pic's of their catch.........take the pic's before you store them in the cooler. If the cooler is not as long as the fish the fish will be "C" shaped. Also there will be discoloration of the color where it sits on the ice. But they will taste better! My best walleye ever(32 1/2") was butt ugly when I pulled it from the cooler. Bent and discolored! Live and learn. Bob
Note: water was 80 degrees and I could not revive it to let it go
