Chiefs HC Andy Reid imparted some wisdom to his star quarterback.
With 13 seconds on the clock.

“When it’s grim, be the grim reaper and go get it,” Reid said to Mahomes

The rest is history

Yes, I heard that last night. A reporter asked Mahomes about that as a possible nickname but he did not respond to that part.

Good Morning Football on the NFL Network referred to the AFC Championship Game as the Arrowhead Invitational.

I see Aaron ending up with the Broncos which will be even greater pressure in the AFC West. Denver is loaded at WR and has a great defense. Imagine a conference with Mahomes, Herbert, and Rodgers.

Best 2 teams in the NFL. Definitely the best 2 QBs. What a game!
Not necessarily true. If the Bills squib kick, the recovering Chiefs player could have immediately taken a knee and given themselves up. Likely only one or two seconds would have run off the clock. in reality its absurd to think a team can march down the field to FG range in 13 seconds. Kudos to the Chiefs but I think you're right that both defenses were gassed.

Scratch New Orleans. Erin needs somebody he can push around. Payton ain't that guy.

I'm sticking with Denver.

I didn't say they should squib kick. A shorter kickoff, though, would have taken a few seconds off the clock. A touchback wasn't the best choice....not with Mahomes at the wheel.

I think Rodgers would love to pull a Brett Favre....come to Mn to have a chance at winning his second Super Bowl (something he just can't do with the Pack)....smoke the Pack twice (a la Brett Favre).........get easy victories vs the Lions and Bears.....imagine......Rodgers, Jefferson, Thielen and Cook.......Lions, Packers and Bears oh my!:

Go Vikings! Skol!
