I'm starting to plan a Fly-In Walleye Fishing Trip to Ontario, Canada for sometime in 2007. Anyone have any good suggestions on a good place to go and what time of year would be best????? or some places "Not" to go would help.....
Thanks..... |

we always stayed in nestor falls on lake of the woods. if you want to fly out for a day or two, the flote planes are right in town.

Ontario is a big place -- if you are talking north of Michigan try Hawk Air at Hawk Junction near Wawa, Ontario. Did several trips and they treated us right. I like Goat Lake, Mozambique and Missinabi (spelling??) lakes. Lots of eyes and pike with Goat having the biggest pike.

Look at Arctic Watershed Outposts (www.awonakina.com) Out of Nakina. Look at Melchett Lake or Kayedon Lake. Have used this outfitter 9 times with no. 10 this June. Lots of "eyes". Good cabins with showers and good equipment. I have some personal marked maps available if you decide. E-mail me at [email protected]
