Trailer wheel jack
Does anyone know of a good trailer jack that the wheel actually turns when positioning the boat and you don’t have to kick the wheel to get it to go in the right direction? Also that it is large enough so as not to dig into the dirt on a gravel surface? Thanks

Look at the Fulton F2 series of trailer jacks. Only one I've found where the wheel spins independent of the shaft, available in single and twin-wheel versions.

Don't remember the model, but a jack with twin wheels was the key for me. Even worked on hard gravel.

I have the jack HRG refers to. As long as I have it cranked down so the tongue is low it works better than any other I've tried.

This 1500 lb. high lift jack works very well for your purpose.
With the setup of the wheel angle and the wheel pair to reduce ground pressure the jack turns relatively easily and it simply does an excellent job. Also, the cost of the jack is reasonable. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...c=1&bfact=true
