Hey guys probably a long shot, but I have the coveted any deer tag and I am late in saying that after spending a few days out there opening weekend I am trying to refocus what i thought I was going to do. I initially thought a decent whitetail would be fine, but now I may try to focus on a good mule deer. Unfortunately I have limited time to take off and live on the east side. Any ideas for areas to look into or people who will allow DIY for a fee? Any professional hills hunters who would care to share some priceless knowledge. I was ignorantly led to believe hills deer were not hard to hunt especially if you're not afraid to hike. I am not, but I still didn't find anything worth shooting.
Thank you
