Simms Rainsuit CX vs Challenger

Hey gang. Anyone out there have any opinions on the Simms CX Rainsuit set vs the Challenger set? The CX set is priced a little higher. I understand that most will say try them on and the "feel" will tell you.....however when you live in Saskatchewan and don't have that option and need to order online.....well........tell me what you think. Is the upraded suit worth it?

Personally...I have the Pro series, If i have to fish in the rain i want it to work and it has to be Gore tex. I don;t think the Challenger is Gore Tex is it? Buy the best you can afford. If you have to buy something twice (wether it be rod's,reels ,fishfinders...whatever) then the first purchase was a waste of money. Just the way I look at things

Ah, a fellow Sasky that can't find anywhere that sells decent Simms gear. Man are our options for high end rainwear brutal in this province. One thing I would recommend is going into The Fishin Hole and just trying on the challenger series suit - you might find that the material will already keep you more than dry enough. I must say though, the Simms CX suits look unbelievable. Much more appealing than the challenger line.
