Is there a listing of participants anywhere? Or, do we have to wait until the actual weigh in starts and the live leaderboard starts up? Seems the MWC and NWT are the greatest secrets in the world when it comes to their tourneys. I sure miss the ol' days when everyone used Walleye Central and their Leaderboard for this stuff. They did such an awesome job. Now it seems that they all complain about numbers being down and such, yet they do next to nothing to promote these great fisherman and their tourneys to us fans.

Default DUGOUT in 281

Heard someone decided to dig a trench in 281 to get on the other side of the road. DNR and county didn't like it and were present @ rules meeting saying a big fine for anyone crossing the road? Someone took a huge risk, guess their plans changed now.

This is ugly. Now the word is that the DNR says no fines will be issued. Hope tournament directors do the right thing.

The NWT had a post about the no fines on their facebook page,..

Then they deleted some comments about it,...

Now the entire post is gone,..........

Yup, saw that too. Waiting to hear from friends there to verify any rulings. The one thing tournament directors do not want to do is change their minds on what is legal/within rules during a tournament. Or for that matter, what they told people during prefishing.

What a bunch of BS! Your tourney comes to a town, then some idiots pay someone to dig out trench in a paved road at 2 in the morning that's county property (basically destroying public property), and you as a tourney director let fisherman use it? Cabelas and the NWT should be ashamed of themselves! They have a LOT of explaining to do to both the fishing profession for allowing and then basically supporting criminal behavior and to the local community for the damage they allowed their anglers to do. Any fisherman who uses this should be totally ashamed of themselves whether they were involved in the digging or not. It's not right and you know it. If that's the kind of person you are, please don't ever come back to our community. We love tourists, but your kind can stay home.

The cutting of trees, bushes and/or logs after the start of the pretournament meeting and/or
the removal of official local, state or federal barricades at any time to make an area more
accessible by boat is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification from the
tournament. The use of cables, ropes, chains or any type of block and tackle system to
maneuver a boat into fishing waters is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification

Contestants may fish anywhere on tournament waters available to the public and accessible
by boat, except areas posted or otherwise designated as “off-limits,” “no boats,” “keep out,”
“restricted,” “no trespassing” or “no fishing” (or similar language or markings intended to
restrict public access) by NWT, local, state or federal officials, or within a contestant’s firstmarked
fishing area. A

Is a windswept once water covered road considered a barricade?
