Where are the meat grinders hitting? Last time I looked this was a fishing reports page, not for stinky venison report

LOL Yep I didn't even know they made an ice cream maker attachment for the Kitchenaids until my 3 year old pointed it out at the store. How could I say no?

I know a guy that uses the Cabelas model and loves it. I guess that I just like the idea of using the same motor for a few different purposes.

(PS I think that you can get factory refurb Kitchenaids at ABC Wearhouse, and the meat grinder attachment rund about $60 I think).

I think this is the one that i - er my wife - has

I sometimes use a food processor with the knife edge metal blade. It helps if the meat is somewhat frozen. Works great for me at least.

My wife processes our deer including making sausage. She uses her "Oster Kitchen Center" with the grinding attachment. As long as the blades are sharp it works as well as any other grinder I have seen outside of a commercial operation. We just picked up another "Oster", a food grinder, at an estate auction for $1.00. It worked great after I sharpened the blades.

I bought a Maverick brand grinder at Meijer's about 6 years ago that looks identical to the Cabela's grinder. I paid 70 some odd bucks for the thing and have run 12 or so deer through it. I grind the entire deer and it works great doesn't clog, and is pretty quick. It came with the sausage blade/stuffer attachment also.
