Default New models from Ranger Boats for 2020

I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with the new Ranger 621FS Pro yesterday morning..... AWESOME boat, can't wait to run one next year.

New hull design and lots of interior changes....including a totally redesigned dash....... but most importantly we got to run it WOT all morning!

Full tank of gas and two adults with a light load it was pushing 65 mph.

This is the tower boat that ran beside us for overhead shots, plus a drone and a chaser boat.

We had to slow down for all of them.

That 400 Merc is a monster!

It was a good morning!

You can check it out on Ranger Boats website, along with the NEW 622 FS Pro......that one can handle a 450hp motor!

There are two different floor plan options to choose from.....you can remove the side compartments for a totally open floor plan, or you can choose to have them installed ..... it's your choice.

These new models sport the "Ranger Ride" interface .... which is basically a touch screen that monitors and controls the accessories and gives you all the information you need about your ride at your fingertips....it's a very cool addition ..... and it's ONLY on a Ranger!

Hmmmmm, I might as well be that guy! I'm already already turning a consistent 65 mph with a full tank of fuel, full livewell, and 2 people with a 350 on the back of the competitions boats, one that will have a 400 on it come Monday! Just saying I'm not sure that I would use the speed thing as a selling point.

Alright, I won't throw any other daggers, I really like the FS series rangers and would own one if I didn't run what I have.

Well....Ranger never said it was the fastest boat

There are a lot of good options out there.....Ranger is one of the top of the line boats to consider when shopping for one.....and the new FS Pro series offers options no other boat company is offering.....yet.

It's kinda cool to see where the technology is taking the industry...

And....yea....once a competitor ups the game with a larger engine.....everybody else has to match it.....no matter who did it first.

I just don't get with a boat this size, while the need for such huge engines. 250 to 300 should be fine. Not like it is a huge boat, but I guess speed reigns.... Plus, the boat prices are really getting out of hand and the bigger engines are helping do that. Crazy prices...

Talking about high hp engines, looks like Lund put a 400 on the Baron for 2020!

You sure the 622 can take a 450. I understood 400 for that also.

Default Concerns about the dash

The boat looks great but does the dash configuration eliminate the possibility of mounting two 12" MFD's instead of one 16" or 15"? If so it seems a little short sighted.

I agree that prices are out of control, a fully loaded 1 ton truck or high end fishing boat will cost you what a new lower priced house costs!!!

I think speed is important. Sure, for tournament guys every minute counts but for guys who can only go for 2-4 hour trips if you can shave 30-40 minutes off of lake drive time that's an extra 20-40 minutes of fishing which is a lot.

I just went fishing for the first time this year, 7/31/19 and I haven't even taken my boat out of the garage yet, so fishing time is limited and hard to come by. Every extra minute on the water is valuable.

But at this point it wouldn't be worth you spending that much money to just sit there...
