I ran my 24V maxxum on 12v once to get back to the dock on an electric motor only lake. Wasn't pretty, but it worked. Had I would guess maybe 40% thrust at 100 and probably smoked my battery since it didn't last that year.. but it saved me from a ticket that would have been more than the cost of that battery.
I would be surprised if the electric steering models would run correctly with only 2/3 voltage, especially if its ipilot. |

I ran a Minn-Kota 12V at 24V (no electronics) for years - the worst that happened is it would burn out the speed at the selection most used. #1 went first. But boy, did it RIP through the pads better than my 24V I have now does ...

I have a Ulterra with Link 36 volt I am running on 24 replaced a Terrova 24 volt power wise not a huge difference, or run time.
