Thanks, I’ll ask Ranger direct. Here is another one for you. “On the 622PRO where is the horn button?” I fish on a very busy weekend lake and horns are needed at times sometimes even as a courtesy. But the horn needs to be readily accessible.
The only place I’ve seen it is on the RIDE touchscreen. I’ll take a picture if I don’t go fishing tomorrow.

I see you have a jack plate. I drove a 622 in late October. It didn’t have one, I’m sure you like it but I’ve never had a jackplate, can you describe what difference it makes for you? 2nd question, the boat I drove limited the trim, it was impossible to over trim, went to setting 35 and stopped, is this how you have your boat set?

Jack-plate pros - dial in engine height for the specific water conditions; better top end speed and fuel mileage; provides set back to get prop in cleaner water; nice for power loading; great for dialing in and trying new props. Also handy for changing lower unit oil.

Trim wise, they all have a max trim limit once your above a certain rpm, even the old Optimax series would only let you trim so far once above 2000 or so rpm. That's not just a Ranger thing. Matter of fact, if your trimmed up to far and you rev the engine up, it will automatically trim down without touching the trim button.

My boat is a 621 w/350 Verado. It did not have jack plate when new but I added a Bob's 6" hyd plate last year. I do not dispute some claims of what a plate will do but VERY VERY minimum. Long story short, I would not buy it again, not worth the 1200.

I got the Bob’s Hydraulic plate and the Zip Wake trim tabs. Based on my limited use of the boat thus far, if I only had a couple grand left in my boat budget and had to make a choice between the two I’d go with the Zip Wake. Once calibrated, these things are impressive. I set to auto on my last trip and the difference between having them vs not was night and day.

I’ve been messing with the jack plate and I haven’t noticed too much difference in performance but I’m still figuring everything out.

That is very interesting feedback. I have a build order for a 622 with 350hp and I really like the dealer I chose. He told me the very same thing. Thank you again very much! I’m not a pro, just a avid fisherman with a family that goes boating and some fish guiding on my home lake so I take families and older people. This feedback helps me make my decision.. if you have any more I’m all ears.
