I had the same boat with a tempest and a bravo fs. Bravo needs the motor lifted to the 4th hole. Bravo is hands down the better prop than a tempest. Batter holeshot, grip, and speed is similar

Came from dealer 1 hole up. Went to middle hole with tempest still on and was better. Switched to bravo and stayed on middle hole and better yet

Same set up but with a 17p Rev 4 with all the PVS holes plugged. I get 5600 RPM and top speed of 48. The motor is in the second hole up, factory setting. The boat jumps out of the hole and has great midrange throttle response. I'm pretty happy with it.
If you're more than a mile from Rainy Lake you're a million miles from home.
