Default Rainy Lake

Wondering if anyone trolls for Walleye on Rainy? Mostly I see jigging on the reefs this time of year. I would think deep diving cranks would work

Default Trolling Rainy Lake

Since so many read my post and no one responded, I thought I would post an update. Trolling did not work for us on our recent trip to Rainy. The wind had been blowing pretty strong after a couple days of rain. We found a school of what we think were eyes stacked up in a current flow. The trolled everything we could through them and they wouldn't go. We did hook up on Lindy rigs coming down the edges of a reef in the 32 to 38 foot range. Maybe Rainy walleyes like it right in front of their face.
