Default Lowrance Active Target Software Updates

Software 20.1 has been released with support for ActiveTarget and several other changes. (Including better DownScan when using Active Imaging.)

If you use Livesight, DO NOT update your HDS Live or Carbon to 20.1 yet, wait for the upcoming update for the LiveSight transducer and update both the transducer and the HDS at that time.

Beat me to it. I started to post this last night.

I'm still waiting on my AT, but looks to be couple more weeks.

If you have Livesight, DO NOT downliad and use this particular update!! There will be an update for it coming soon, but till then, don't try to to use Livesight with this recent update.

Hawk

Glad you posted that information for the Lowrance guys with Livesight. I don't have it, so I'm good. I don't recall seeing that info on the Update page which is a "UhOh" by the techs.

I see the LiveSight 20.1 update is available.

Any idea what was updated or changed? Was there a press release or info document?

Usually they have a write up on what changes the update makes, but I can't find it.

Thanks,

Waxy

It's a matter to be compatible with the latest update; if you don't update it just don't work

Had to to a hard reset on my units to get the Livesight to work. Might have been caused by the 20.1 Carbon/Live update. Just so you know. Works great now.

Yeah, I get that, but I was hoping there was maybe more to it than that, ie improvements in performance.

I have some issue with the 20.1 and Livesight. Thought it was the Livesight update but I dont think so anymore. Just might be in the 20.1
