Default Question on Gulp swimming mullett vs Powerbait 4 inch grub

I enjoy using Gulp and have success price is a lot higher than the Power Grub, usually $6.99 vs $3.99 both ten packs. I never pay that price, I bought the Power Grubs for $2.99 at Dicks but found Gulp at a good price of $5.49. Thinking of taking the Power Grubs back for the Gulp, both have the colors I used. Appreciate comments on the Power Grub, pros and cons

I no longer find the value in Gulp. When it was first formulated, there was value, because you could catch 30 to 40 fish with a bait before needing to replace it. Since that time, they have "softened" the formula to the point that I wont use it. Power baits are just as effective in my opinion, last longer, and catch just as many fish.. Hence the better value..

And now it seems the color of "smelt" has changed from a great greyish/white grey to more back/white, not unlike, I believe it is black shad, or something.

I appreciate your input, my target price is never higher than .50 a bait. Again I always buy on sale and try to also do at the times their are also rebates. I was able to buy Powerbaits as low as .88 a bag in closing of Gander in Niles. I also bought other Powerbaits for $1.29 so the value is their for sure. Now I hope your right and they will catch fish. Thanks again for your input

What i have noticed the biggest different plastics is in cold water as some get very stiff and loose action.
