I'd buy a nice used ATV with a plow. You'll be happier in the long run and the price tag won't be that much different. You also get a toy to enjoy all the big woods has to offer

What do you in winters where there's alot of snow? You can only push snow around so much. At some point you need to get it up and over the snow banks.

The others listed aren’t in the same league!

I think everyone makes fairly decent stuff these days if you do your maintenance and take care of it.
I'd be partial to Toro, Honda, or Ariens though.

I have an Ariens which has held up well.

I have a steep driveway. Consequently, I had to install chains for traction. Blowing uphill is a lot harder than walking uphill because you have to lift and push to keep the front edge down.

It is such hard work I bought a Snowsport plow. Works great! I keep my ariens just in case. I also have a small electric Toro for my decks.

Homeowner is taking his 2 stage snow blower with him sadly.
The driveway is a long one and at an incline to the street so a 2 stage blower is what I need.
I want to buy from one of 3 small retailers in town for future service work - not interested in going to one of the big box hardware stores.
The brands available to buy include Toro, Airens, Husqvarna, Troy-Bilt, and Honda.
Electric start is a must at my age!

Any suggestions as to what brand to buy / stay away from?
Thanks
Not trying to be a smart azz here, but doesn't Green Bay get snow ? 🤣

I agree with this. My brother had one for his house in Idaho, and after about 4 snow drops he had to get out his front loader to move snow. Shortly after that he bought a snow blower attachment for his tractor.

I have an Ariens professional 28 cut 420cc. This thing has been great, easy to turn and moves alot of snow. I would look at a 28 Deluxe SHO if I was you. If you have a big area I suggest a 306cc at a minimum.

Prior to my front mounted John Deere snow blowers I had a 26 inch, 2 stage TroyBilt. What was interesting was the drive wheels were part of a differential system so when you wanted to turn is 180 degree's one wheel would stay stationary while the other turned, you could turn it with 1 arm and on a dime. I don't know if the new ones have that feature but it sure was easy to move around.

We currently live in an apartment so I don't cut the grass or shovel snow
