Look nice. I prefer to use pink or red thread, to simulate gills. Not sure, really, if it makes any difference, but I have to use some color, so might as well follow my logic.

I like to troll all white 1/16 round head bucktail jigs for crappie or drift if the wind is blowing enough to move my boat at 0.9 to 1.1 mph. These were tied about 35 years ago but still work....
