Question Boston Whaler 15' Sport

Boston Whaler 15' Sprt. Wanting to mount a electric trolling motor on the bow. Can anyone tell me if there is any plywood under the fiberglass on the flat area on the port side of the bow? It's a 1990 barn find that is in excellent condition. I've contacted Whaler but they don't have any drawings or records for 1990 model.
