Default Universal Sonar (Minnkota) and Core model HB units.

I've had my 1875 Pro Guide on the water one time. I've got two 999's on the console. I'm planning on moving one of the 999's to the bow and putting the Helix 9 back on the console.

How well does the universal sonar on my Ulterra work with the core models like the 999?

it will work just fine if all you're looking for is 2d sonar from your bow 999

I believe you will have to adjust the transducer setting on the graph to match the US2

What are my options for getting SI and DI at the trolling motor?

I do have an extra HD transducer.

The Ultera doesn't have the slot in the shaft like the Terrova does, so it's more difficult to route the cable from your 999. I know people are doing it and using a coiled air hose to route the cable thru.

You should be able to get Si and Di from your helm unit if they are networked together. You can even split screen and show both the US2 sonar and Di/Si off the transom. helps when following drop offs, weedlines, etc.

if you want SI/DI data directly under/side of your trolling motor, you'll need to run an external ducer and wires along the trolling motor shaft upto the humminbird unit. If you don't mind reading the SI/DI data from the ducer at the back of the boat, you can network your units and share the SI/DI data...
