Default Letterkenny

Who watches this show? Who's even heard of it? It's currently on Hulu and is a show that my twenty-something kids introduced me to recently. It's sophomoric humor and the language is definitely not for young ones, but I have to admit I find the show oddly amusing.

The show revolves around the childish antics of the 4 main characters Wayne, his hot sister Katy, and friends Daryl and "Squirrelly" Dan in a small town of 5000 in rural Ontario. There's also a bunch of local hockey goofballs, and a group of annoying local drug addicts "the Skids" along with members of the First Nation referred to as the "natives". It's hard to keep up with the wordplay but after watching for a while you'll find yourself using the Ontario dialect for fun.

Check it out - it's funny. That is, if you're in the mood for a little mindless humor.

Default Trailer Park Boys

Sounds a lot like Trailer Park Boys it is on Netflix. I'm in my mid 60's and I laughed hard at the knuckleheads on Trailer Park Boys it takes place in Nova Scotia. Worth checking out.

I don't have Hulu so "Letterkenny" is out for me, otherwise I'd check it out, but I will second "Corner Gas" on Amazon Prime as a funny show. It's well written with quirky characters. I enjoy the dialogue and Brent's somewhat sarcastic wit. It's also a show you can watch with anyone around, reminiscent of TV back when the whole family could watch.

Yup, if you're not offended by the profanity, it's definitely a funny show. I'm in Season 4 now and just watched the Canada gooses (not geese) episode. That's already a classic.
